About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled KYC Signatory/SME to join our KYC Team of Wholesale Banking Iberia. As a KYC Signatory/SME, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are met for periodic review and onboarding clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough non-financial risk assessments of clients to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for KYC Analysts in the course of the KYC life cycle, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely approvals, in line with market demands.
  • Contribute to ensuring that Local Unit' CDD production meets the quality standards required by the Group.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, as well as analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written (additional language is a bonus, but not required).
  • Expertise in KYC and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Drive with a 'can do' attitude and consistently achieve results, even under difficult circumstances.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on delivery on time with attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Wholesale Banking experience (at least 5 years a plus).
