Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior KYC Operations Specialist to join our growing KYC team in Madrid. As a Junior KYC Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in assessing confidential information provided by merchants, performing KYC checks, and contributing to the team's high performance.
Key Responsibilities- Merchant Communication: You will be the first point of contact for merchants and communicate directly with them regarding onboarding-related matters.
- KYC Checks and Documentation: Perform KYC checks on sub-merchants, collect and verify relevant documentation, and iterate on the process flow.
- Internal Product Advocacy: Track product processes, contribute to the platform, and provide feedback and issues to merchants.
- Onboarding Support: Provide internal support for onboarding-related questions in the local office.
- Responsibility and Ownership: You have a great sense of responsibility and take ownership for your work.
- Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: You have a natural tendency to be curious and think outside of the box.
- Communication and Teamwork: You are a great communicator with a strong team spirit and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
- Analytical and Critical Mindset: You have an analytical and critical mindset.
- Solving Operational Problems: You get a sense of achievement from solving operational problems and helping others.
- Onboarding/KYC/CDD Experience: You have an affinity for Onboarding/KYC/CDD and operational processes and are interested in learning more about it.
- Language Skills: You can speak and write English fluently; additional languages will be considered a plus.
- Flexibility: You are able and willing to do a rotating weekend shift, including bank holidays.
