Position Overview:

Reporting to the Associate Manager in Spain, you will serve as the primary liaison for the Local Sales Team, the Western Europe Customer Team, and the Regional Marketing Team. This role requires adeptness in navigating a complex landscape, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including remote teams. Your key responsibility will be to adapt the Regional Category Strategy for the Spanish market, crafting a commercial plan tailored to diverse channels and customers, managing equity and pricing budgets, and being accountable for Net Sales, Delivered Profit, and Market Shares. This role focuses on trade marketing rather than consumer marketing, as it does not involve product development or advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Net Sales, Delivered Profit, and Market Shares across all categories in Spain; Translate the Regional Category Strategy into actionable plans for specific channels and customers; Identify Shopper Insights and convert them into strategic initiatives to enhance performance at the point of sale; Develop and manage the annual equity and pricing budget; Design and implement promotional strategies; Assist the Associate Manager in formulating pricing strategies; Support the Associate Manager in creating accurate forecasts through the local S&OP process; Develop Trade Presentations utilizing regional materials; Create customized growth plans for major customers, focusing on assortment, promotions, merchandising, and marketing activation; Collaborate with the category manager to present innovation reviews to key customers.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree from a Business School or equivalent university qualification; 3 to 4 years of experience in Trade/Customer Marketing, Category Management, or Sales; Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Willingness to travel, both short and long term; Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; Experience in FMCG or retail is advantageous; Familiarity with market data/panels (e.g., AC Nielsen) is a plus;
