Network Security Architect

Job Summary
The Straumann Group is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our global network.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security architecture to protect our global network infrastructure
- Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls, VPN access, and other security systems
- Administer and maintain the Cisco Identity Services Engine and Cisco Umbrella infrastructure
- Participate in IT security projects and conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations
- Maintain system documentation, including Visio network diagrams
- Handle tickets related to incidents, service requests, and changes
Requirements
- Educational background in technical computer science, with a degree from a recognized institution
- Palo Alto Certification and Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) are advantageous
- At least 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years of architecture experience
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting, with good networking skills in Switching & Routing
- Good service management skills and experience with AAA methods (Radius, Tacacs+, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, IPSK, Captive portal,...)
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, with German being an advantage
- Independent and highly customer-oriented personality, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
