Network Security Architect

Job Purpose
The Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive network security strategy for the global network infrastructure of Institut Straumann Ag. This includes planning, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect against cyber threats and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the network security infrastructure for data centers and subsidiaries worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions that meet business requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls, VPN access, and other security devices.
- Administer and maintain the Cisco Identity Services Engine and Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
- Act as a project team member or take project ownership for various IT security projects.
- Conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations or coordinate vendors remotely.
- Maintain system documentation, including network diagrams.
- Handle tickets, including incidents, service requests, and change requests.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree beneficial.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years of architecture experience.
- Skills: Strong networking skills, good service management skills, and experience with OT Security, Cisco Identity Services Engine, and NFV.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
