Network Security Architect

**Job Summary**
The Straumann Group is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the security of our global network infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the network security infrastructure for our global locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls, VPN access, and other security systems.
- Administer and maintain the Cisco Identity Services Engine and Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
- Act as a project team member or take project ownership for various IT Security projects.
- Conduct on-site rollout activities and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Maintain system documentation, including network diagrams.
- Handle tickets related to incidents, service requests, and change requests.
**Requirements**
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years of architecture experience.
- Palo Alto Certification and Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) are advantages.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of switching and routing.
- Strong experience with AAA methods and network security components.
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
