Network Security Architect

Job Purpose: The Network Security Architect plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and maintaining the network security infrastructure for the Straumann Group's global operations. This position requires a high level of initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills in an agile and international work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the network security infrastructure for DC and subsidiaries of the Straumann Group worldwide.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the Multi-Clouds' Security Infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls (Palo Alto).
- Configure and troubleshoot remote VPN access.
- Administer and continuously operate the Cisco Identity Services Engine.
- Administer and continuously operate the Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
- Act as a project team member or take project ownership for various IT Security projects.
- Conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations, or coordinate vendors from remote, including coordination with providers.
- Maintain system documentation, such as Visio network diagrams.
- Handle tickets (incidents, service, and change requests).
Requirements:
- Education: Technical computer science degree, FH/HF degree beneficial.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network security, at least 3 years of architecture experience in network security.
- Palo Alto Certification is an advantage.
- Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
- Good networking skills required in Switching & Routing.
- Good service management skills.
- Experience with OT Security is an advantage.
- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
- Experience with NFV (virtualization of Network Security components) is an advantage.
- Strong experience with AAA methods (Radius, Tacacs+, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, IPSK, Captive portal,...).
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
