We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at New Relic, Inc. as a key member of our Global HR Business Partner team. This role will be based in Barcelona and will focus on supporting the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organization in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders, front-line managers, and employees to provide strategic HR support and guidance.
- Develop and implement HR plans and initiatives that align with the business goals and objectives.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the HRBP team in the Americas and India to align on strategies and priorities.
- Work closely with the People Team, Finance, and other stakeholders to develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives.
- Support compliance with local laws and regulations, and ensure the integrity of data and information.
- Lead and/or serve on special HR project teams and business unit committees.
- Degree in HR, Business, or Engineering.
- Proficient Spanish verbal and written communication skills.
- Progressive experience in HR, including strong previous HR Business Partner experience.
- Heavy emphasis on employee relations, with prior ER experience.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing leaders at various levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience advising US executives on application of local labor laws and compliance requirements in EMEA, specifically within Spain.
- Has in-depth experience in one or more HR disciplines.
- HR experience with a global SaaS organization, preferably supporting Engineering organizations.
- Degree in Human Resources or a related area.
- Prior work experience with a multinational company headquartered in the US.
