About the Role:

Catenon is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electric Vehicle Sales Director to spearhead the commercial activities in the power electronics and electric vehicle components market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share with multinational industry leaders.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key automotive manufacturers, identifying their needs and ensuring product offerings meet their requirements.
  • Help scale organizational growth as financial targets are met by building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar science-based major, with an MBA degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience successfully selling into the automotive sector, focusing on electric vehicles and component sales to manufacturers.
  • Proven high-quality communication skills and a track record of successful negotiation skills that have led to revenue growth with automotive customers.
  • Business English language proficiency is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of a customer organization.
  • Deep understanding of the electric vehicle market and power electronics, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements impacting new vehicle developments and technology selection.
