We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior People Operations Partner to join our People Team at Appinio. As a key driver of employee experience, you will be responsible for ensuring our employee life is hassle-free from day-to-day operations by turning the typical "HR Services" work into a "prime" experience, surpassing conventional HR expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive all employee experience topics internationally, including contract management, onboarding, offboarding, visa processes, and employee requests, while delivering an outstanding employee experience.
- Manage international payroll processes in our active payroll markets (currently Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, the UK, and the US) while closely collaborating with our employer of records partner.
- Be a role model for the People Enablement Team on solving various employee questions and challenges; coach the team on best practices from your own experience.
- Support managers and senior leadership in their day-to-day challenges while giving them guidance and coaching on concrete People topics (and beyond).
- Partner with the rest of the People Enablement Team as well as the People Leadership team on building holistic People approaches and frameworks that support our overarching employee goals, such as internal events, performance management, and engagement.
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, HR Management, or similar, or at least 3 years of experience in the field.
- In-depth knowledge and passion about the "operational" side of People, such as onboarding and terminations.
- In-depth international payroll experience, especially in Spain and/or France, (US, UK knowledge is a plus).
- Ideal experience as a people partner where you supported managers/senior stakeholders on various matters (or you have the curiosity to grow into it).
- A great sense of empathy, excellent organisational talent, and pragmatism.
- Outstanding communication skills as well as a proactive mindset.
- Ability to roll up your sleeves while setting up scalable frameworks and processes.
- Flexibility Policy - no hard cap on the number of vacation days.
- Work-from-anywhere Policy - if you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per year.
