About the opportunity
The Global People Operations team at N26 strives to create and deliver the best possible employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle.
Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes and systems to focus on the things that matter most: our people.
This means you'll be supported by a dedicated and passionate team, as well as HR tools like the People Operations ticketing system.
As a People Operations Partner, you'll help us deliver an outstanding employee experience by giving our colleagues the resources and support they need in the most important moments of their N26 journey.
Key responsibilities:
- Work across a broad range of People topics, supporting the whole lifecycle of employees from offer to onboarding, throughout their employee journey, and beyond.
- Manage payroll processes in several European locations with the support of an external provider.
- Manage our ticketing system, responsible for global employee requests, such as employment contracts, absence, benefits, payroll, and more.
- Within Workday, our HRIS, look after all processes and requests.
- Own the processes you're responsible for and continuously improve them wherever possible.
- Manage projects in different People areas, introducing new tools, process automation, and supporting the implementation of processes and requirements based on local regulations.
- Cover administrative tasks and challenge our existing processes to improve our work and achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
- 3 years People Operations/Payroll experience.
- Experience managing international payroll and familiarity with the basics of labor law and payroll regulations across Europe.
- Experience with the full employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, onboarding, payroll, performance cycles, leaves of absence, and off-boarding.
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS.
- Strong analytical skills, able to make data-driven decisions independently.
- Strong customer service mindset and ideally experience working with or in support of diverse communities.
- Outstanding communication and written skills in English; any other languages are a plus.
