About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AIV Engineer to join our team at Alén Space. As a key member of our Mission Control Center team, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of our nanosatellite missions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification Planning: Develop and implement verification plans for each mission, ensuring compliance with spacecraft requirements.
  • AIV Procedure Development: Coordinate the development of AIV procedures, specify AIV tools, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Manufacturing and Validation: Supervise manufacturing and validation activities, ensuring high-quality components and systems.
  • Environmental Testing: Lead environmental tests, including thermal-vacuum, vibrations, and launch campaigns.
  • Product Assurance: Provide support for non-conformity management and ensure compliance with ECSS standards.
Requirements
  • More than 5 years of AIV role experience.
  • Familiarity with ECSS standards.
  • Background in working in clean room and EPA (Electrostatic Protection Area) environments.
  • Engagement in environmental campaigns.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Desirable Expertise
  • Prior involvement in Nanosatellite projects.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Experience with intricate subsystems like ADCS and propulsion.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment for spacecraft component integration (GSE equipment).
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining TVC or vibration installations.
