SENIOR AIV ENGINEER

GMV is expanding its horizons and is in search of a Senior AIV Engineer; someone who is passionate about their work, skilled, and seasoned; to spearhead our Mission Control Center team and contribute to the advancement of aerospace technology.

As part of a diverse array of nanosatellite missions within the AIV division, you will be engaged in all activities related to ensuring adherence to spacecraft specifications, as well as their integration and final validation, including conducting all necessary assessments. You will organize and oversee the tasks performed by other AIV team members and will also take part in the enhancement of GMV's established nanosatellite platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation of the verification strategy from the initial phase of each mission. Coordination of the development of AIV protocols and specification of AIV tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Supervision and management of manufacturing and validation processes. Lead environmental testing (thermal-vacuum, vibrations, etc.) and launch operations. Support Product Assurance (management of non-conformities).

Desired Qualifications:

Over 5 years of experience in AIV roles. Familiarity with ECSS standards. Experience in clean room and EPA (Electrostatic Protection Area) settings. Participation in environmental testing campaigns. Proficiency in English is required. Valuable skills include: Previous involvement in Nanosatellite initiatives. Understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies. Experience with complex subsystems such as ADCS and propulsion systems. Familiarity with tools and equipment for spacecraft component integration (GSE equipment). Knowledge of operation and maintenance of TVC or vibration test facilities.
