About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AIV Engineer to lead our Mission Control Center team and contribute to the development of space technology at Alén Space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification Planning: Define and execute verification plans for each mission from the start phase.
  • AIV Procedure Development: Coordinate the development of AIV procedures and specify AIV tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
  • Manufacturing and Validation: Coordinate and monitor manufacturing and validation activities.
  • Environmental Testing: Lead environmental tests (thermal-vacuum, vibrations, etc.) and launch campaigns.
  • Product Assurance: Provide support for product assurance, including non-conformity management.
Requirements
  • Experience: More than 5 years of experience in AIV positions.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of ECSS standards and experience working in clean room and EPA environments.
  • Skills: Fluency in English and experience participating in environmental campaigns.
Desirable Skills
  • Nanosatellite Experience: Previous experience in Nanosatellite projects.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing approaches.
  • Complex Subsystems: Experience working with complex subsystems such as ADCS and propulsion.
  • GSE Equipment: Experience using tools and equipment for the integration of spacecraft components.
  • TVC or Vibration Installations: Knowledge of operation and maintenance of TVC or vibration installations.
