Laboratory Asset Management Supervisor

The Laboratory Asset Site Manager is responsible for overseeing site operations in alignment with the contractual agreements and the Statement of Work. This role is pivotal in supporting the overarching account strategy aimed at achieving the annual operational objectives related to revenue, growth, margin enhancement, and client retention.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relations: Cultivate and sustain positive, professional relationships with clients, service providers, and Thermo Fisher personnel.
- Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective service delivery.
- Business Reviews: Aid in the preparation of quarterly business reviews and engage in relevant meetings.
- Data Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing customer metrics, including financial performance, compliance, growth, and profitability.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the implementation of action plans and tracking systems to foster ongoing enhancements.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory standards related to asset management and service programs, particularly in inventory management.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the Resource Center database, including service requests, work orders, and purchase order details.
- Service Monitoring: Oversee service activities and address customer concerns regarding timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
- Site Coordination: Facilitate the scheduling of service visits and ensure a seamless transition for engineers entering the laboratory environment.
- Financial Oversight: Review field service reports and invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring technical remediation procedures are followed.
- Asset Management: Update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with current information regarding onsite assets and service activities.
- Problem Resolution: Assist in resolving service or billing issues as they arise.
- Alternative Solutions: Research and propose alternative service methods or parts in line with account strategies.
- High Dollar Repairs: Follow established procedures for high-cost repairs, monitor their progress, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and security protocols set forth by Thermo Fisher and clients.
- Project Participation: Engage in PPI project teams as assigned to enhance business performance.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to various client locations as necessary to meet account demands.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required.
- 1-2 years of industry experience in sectors such as Agriculture, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biomedical, or related fields.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in data management software.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong commitment to tracking and communicating progress on commitments.
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Work primarily occurs at customer locations, including office environments and laboratory settings.
- May require independent work within customer premises.
- Physical activities include walking, sitting, standing, and lifting.
- May involve exposure to chemical-based allergens.
- Personal protective equipment may be necessary in certain areas.
- Travel by airplane and automobile may be required for meetings and training.
