Job Title: Urban Planning Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Urban Planning Consultant to join our Healthy Cities team in Barcelona. As an Urban Planning Consultant, you will be responsible for the execution and management of innovation consultancy assignments with partners across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and commercialise the health impact assessment tool developed by the Healthy Cities team.
  • Assess the health impact of urban planning projects, applying quantitative and qualitative methods for data collection and analysis.
  • Develop Urban Health strategies including a cross-cutting view on the different aspects of the environment that have an impact on health.
  • Research on key urban environment and health issues, with the aim of transforming knowledge into practical applications.
  • Conceptualise and implement European innovation initiatives, coordinating clients, leading project management and producing high-value analysis, advice, and deliverables.
Requirements:
  • MSc Master's degree in a field related to Public Health, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Social Science or Business.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential. Additionally, we value fluency in our client's native languages including Dutch, Spanish or Catalan.
  • Ability to craft persuasive arguments and translate complex technical concepts into clear and friendly language.
  • Good writing skills are essential; we need you to enjoy writing and be good at creating reports and documents.
