Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Urban Designer to contribute to our projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive urban design and planning strategies. Lead large-scale urban and master planning initiatives, leveraging approximately 5 years of relevant experience. Engage in Middle Eastern masterplan projects. Oversee public realm projects, integrating horizontal (streets, landscapes, public spaces) and vertical (architecture, massing, façade design) elements while collaborating across multiple disciplines. Create detailed technical planning documents, including urban design guidelines, site plans, sections, and diagrams. Coordinate with various consultants, focusing on mobility, civil engineering, infrastructure, finance, and zoning. Communicate the urban design vision effectively to clients, public officials, and the community, both verbally and in writing. Collaborate with diverse teams to provide design guidance and navigate technical development and approval processes. Work closely with leadership to advance discussions on urban design trends, sustainability, resilience, mobility, ecology, and infrastructure. Assist the business development team with urban planning and design proposals. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, particularly in English, encompassing speaking, writing, and presentation. Proficient in BIM, V-Ray, Rhino, and Adobe Suite.
