Job Summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Business Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist FP&A Managers in their duties, including participating in the construction of annual budgets and subsequent monthly reviews.
  • Expense Estimation and Control: Engage in the construction of expense estimates with various departments and subsequent budget deviation control, proposing corrective measures in alignment with area Managers and their tutor.
Accounting and Financial Reporting:
  • Participate in monthly close tasks (calculation of provisions, reviews, sales closing), SOX controls, etc.
Accounts Receivable and Payable:
  • Monitor collected amounts, attend to clients, perform periodic reconciliations, follow up on old debt and DSO.
  • Review, classify, and send invoices to GBS for timely processing, control PO aging, receptions, and assist owners in creating POs.
Orders and Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate in the reconciliation and analysis of orders, assist in the returns process, and inventory reconciliation with our logistics service provider.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration.
  • Postgraduate degree in business management or finance is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an intern and/or 1 year of experience in financial departments within a multinational environment.
