Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Category Lead to drive one of our key strategic global portfolios in one of our European Head Offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of categories by influencing, collaborating & coordinating a cross-functional team & senior stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development
    • Develop a clear growth roadmap with a consumer-first approach, including product innovation, go-to-market strategy, and activation platform.
    • Set category growth objectives (short & long term) to identify key levers of acceleration.
  • Innovation Pipeline Management
    • Define, plan, execute, and evaluate the success of the innovation pipeline, including concept, research and development, go-to-market, success model, and KPIs.
  • Activation and Execution
    • Drive best-in-class activation and execution toolkits, including TVC, digital, and POS, with the right consumer insights and touchpoints in partnership with top-tier countries.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Coach and develop a top-notch team to grow talent within the organization.
  • Financial Management
    • Take ownership of the full P&L, including country tracking and A&P management, and drive optimizations and anticipate risks.
  • Market Analysis and Insights
    • Anticipate consumer trends, competition, and new regulations and how they fit into our growth strategy roadmap.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Report, track, learn, and suggest improvements by analyzing the impact on sales of marketing actions.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Strategic Thinking
    • Proven record as a strategic thinker and equally the ability to execute with excellence.
  • Team Development and Performance Management
    • Experience in team development and performance management.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Ability to influence peers, leadership, exec, and local teams.
  • Marketing and Analytical Skills
    • Proven track record in generating growth through creative thinking, NPD management, and 4Ps excellence.
    • Strong drive for results, can-do attitude, and performance tracking.
    • Analytical skills.
  • Travel and Language
    • Willingness to travel: 20-30% of the time.
    • Fluency in English.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in Healthcare, OTC, or FMCG.
    • Experience analyzing market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, IRI) and financials (P&L ownership).
