About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including server and network hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
  • Act as an incident first responder and provide onsite hands-on support
  • Maintain proper media operations according to process guidelines
  • Perform break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guidelines
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve operation efficiency

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We work collaboratively to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

Requirements
  • Degree / High Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
  • 1 year experience in server / network hardware and operation systems maintenance / troubleshooting
  • Experience in network cabling, including optical
  • Sound understanding of incident response and prioritization
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Industry experience in Data Center Operations
  • Knowledge of data center networking
  • Knowledge of cloud computing
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement
  • Literacy in security and customer data protection
