**Job Summary**

Amazon is seeking a talented engineer to join our Data Center Operations team in Hong Kong. As a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards in supporting server and network hardware and software.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide 7x24 roster duty in data center operations, responding to incidents and performing hands-on support

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues according to process guidelines

• Maintain proper media operations, capacity landing, and decommissioning according to process guidelines

• Ensure site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas

• Contribute to improving operation efficiency through innovation and process improvement

**Requirements**

• Strong knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Degree or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines

• 1 year experience in server/network hardware and operation systems maintenance/troubleshooting

• Experience in network cabling, including optical

• Sound understanding of incident response and prioritization

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Industry experience in Data Center Operations

• Knowledge of data center networking, cloud computing, and continuous process improvement

• Literacy in security and customer data protection
