About the Role

Amazon is seeking a talented Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
  • Respond to incidents and provide hands-on support
  • Maintain proper media operations and capacity landing and decommissioning
  • Contribute to improving operation efficiency
Requirements
  • Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Good attention to detail
  • Degree / High Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines
  • 1 year experience in server / network hardware and operating systems maintenance / troubleshooting
  • Experience in network cabling including optical
  • Sound understanding of incident response and prioritization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry experience in Data Center Operations
  • Knowledge of data center networking
  • Knowledge of cloud computing
  • Knowledge of continuous process improvement
  • Literacy in security and customer data protection
