About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Infrastructure and Workplace Solution Architect to join our team at Empresa Reconocida. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Infrastructure Architecture and Design: Design end-to-end solutions that align with business goals, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure and workplace solutions, employing a hands-on approach to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently. Provide escalated support to resolve critical incidents and ensure minimal disruptions to business operations.
  3. Google Workspace Administration: Manage Google Workspace environments and ensure effective collaboration.
  4. Cisco Meraki Administration: Handle the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices, including switches, routers, and access points. Ensure network security and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  5. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Administer the Mobile Device Management platform to manage and secure devices used by employees. Implement security policies, configuration policies, device enrollment, and troubleshooting for mobile devices.
  6. Software Installation and Configuration: Assist in maintaining the integrity and security of the company's network infrastructure. Implement security protocols, monitor network performance, and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
  7. Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to facilitate self-help and improve support efficiency.
  8. User Training: Conduct training sessions for users on IT systems and processes.
  9. IT Asset Management: Keep track of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Assist in the procurement process for IT equipment as needed.
  10. Collaboration and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrable skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
  2. Excellent knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and computer peripherals troubleshooting and maintenance.
  3. Proficiency in providing technical support for mobile devices like iPhones and Android devices.
  4. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems.
  5. Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services and administration.
  6. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Chat, and Google Meet for collaboration purposes.
  7. In-depth knowledge of Cisco Networking, including routers, firewalls, and LAN switches.
  8. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and DHCP protocols.
  9. Experience with asset management tools and practices.
  10. In-depth knowledge of security protocols, practices, and tools to ensure robust data protection and compliance.
  11. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
  12. Scripting and Automation Experience.
  13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end-users effectively.
  14. Project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  15. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a global team.
  16. Industry certifications such as Google Workspace Administration, AWS Certified Administration, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or Cisco certifications would be advantageous.
  17. A minimum of 5 years of documented experience in an L2 or L3 IT Support role.
