Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions S.L. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and orchestrating the IT solution process, working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and creating clear and comprehensive documentation of solution designs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and orchestrate the IT solution process in various phases of solution design development to ensure smooth execution and compliance with current security and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation of solution designs, including architecture diagrams and integration descriptions, and present them to the Architecture Board.
- Select appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on governance policies of Enterprise Architecture to maintain consistency in the system landscape.
- Regularly validate governance policies against requirements and collaborate with AP Enterprise Architecture if adjustments are necessary.
- Continuously review existing solution designs to identify risks and vulnerabilities and provide suggestions for mitigation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout the entire product lifecycle to implement solutions within product timelines and budgets.
- Stay updated on changes in governance policies, as well as new technology offerings in the market and their relevance to our environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in at least two comparable positions.
- Leadership experience within agile organizations.
- Project experience.
- Work experience within digital teams and jobs.
- IT feasibility study.

- Strong interest and proficiency in modular enterprise and data architecture design across multiple platforms, as well as system integration (including APIs, databases, and third-party systems), and risk management with the ability to adapt to them.
