POSITION SUMMARY

As the Assistant Boutique Operations Manager, you will oversee the administrative team within our Boutique, ensuring the smooth and precise execution of all administrative processes and tasks.

You will manage the implementation of operational procedures and new logistical frameworks while providing an exceptional experience for our esteemed Cartier clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

You will ensure adherence to all operational protocols and compliance standards

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial operations Carry out all cash-desk opening and closing procedures Verify transaction accuracy prior to payment (product details, pricing, applicable discounts) and post-payment (amount, authorization, confirmation) Process all transactions and monitor the status of payments (credit card approvals, cheque clearances, wire transfers, etc.) Track deposits, VAT-exempt sales, and refunds Generate cash-desk reports as required Communicate with the financial back office for information exchange Daily reconciliation of cash-desk balances Resolve any payment discrepancies Oversee all financial components of omni-channel orders for the Boutique Ensure compliance with all cash handling and inventory management protocols

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

You will proficiently manage inventory for both finished and unfinished goods

Conduct stock inventory and reconciliation processes Oversee the proper movement of products in and out of the Boutique, including stock reception, transfers, consignments, reservations, and deliveries to clients Ensure the protection and proper handling of items, maintaining stock quality and preparing gifts for client shipping. Prepare items for display and manage pricing labels Coordinate annual inventory counts, cycle counts, and spot checks Manage additional inventory requests (certificates, stones, etc.) Assist management with Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives (e.g., reducing consumption of perishable and non-perishable goods)

You will serve as a key resource for all tools and support innovative solutions

Assist with various tasks as needed Embrace new tools and services Master and implement existing and new tools and services Actively promote new services to clients and Boutique teams

TEAM MANAGEMENT

As a leader, you will mentor and develop your team

Lead, support, and develop a team of 3 Boutique Administrators Conduct monthly meetings with merchandising and Boutique operations teams Foster a positive and productive team atmosphere in the stockroom Assist the Boutique Manager in promoting high standards of stock management across all teams

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a retail setting (preferably luxury retail) Strong background in operations and administrative/logistical processes in retail Ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment Proficiency in both Spanish and English Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Keen attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset Digitally proficient, with experience in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is a significant advantage
