Job Title: Programme Manager Development Aid Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team at DevelopmentAid. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing significant donor-funded assignments awarded to DEVAID LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of MCC-funded and other donor-funded projects, primarily managed remotely with some travel to respective countries as needed.
  • Lead project teams consisting of different consultants, including recruitment specialists, market researchers, technical, sustainability, and other experts.
  • Ensure projects remain in scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
  • Provide training and instruction on the use of project tools.
  • Be the main point of contact in all communications with the customer.
  • Prepare proposals, interview and hire qualified staff, and coordinate the bidding process for upcoming BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) assignments.
  • Identify relevant assignments and prepare proposals for such bidding opportunities.
  • Report to the program director weekly.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the international development sector, having worked for at least one international NGO, donor, or development agency.
  • Proven experience managing projects remotely.
  • Largely independent.
  • Proven experience in the field of international development aid.
  • Experience with managing and coordinating teams of consultants.
  • Experience with recruitment and human resources management is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in International Relations, International Business Administration, Development Studies, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • The successful candidate for this position will have full professional proficiency in English. Having French and/or Spanish as a working language is considered a plus.
