Job Title: Lead Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Design Engineer to join our team at REEL International. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the complete design process for aeronautical Jigs and Tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Jigs and Tools for the aeronautic sector, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support and expertise.
  • Perform material strength calculations and pre-sizing of structures.
  • Develop and review detailed studies, defining acceptance tests to demonstrate compliance with technical requirements.
  • Launch and monitor the manufacturing of parts.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in tooling and access platform design, including 3D and drawings, and manufacturing of mechanical parts.
  • Knowledge of construction steels, mechanical steels, and aluminium raw materials.
  • Calculation basis for mechanical dimensioning of structures.
  • Experience with CATIA is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good written and spoken English and Spanish.
