Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Dmed Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new hardware designs related to the medical field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design PCBs for new or existing products in the medical field
  • Provide knowledge and support in different areas related to development
  • Collaborate with the rest of the teams to ensure the integration of the different development activities
  • Ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality design meeting requirements
  • Document designs and comply with established processes
Requirements:
  • Solid knowledge base of digital and analog electronics
  • Creation and management of documentation
  • Experience in selecting components and their alternatives
  • Experience with Pulsonix or Altium, or another EDA tool
  • Experience in electronic simulation
  • Knowledge of component library management (Symbols and Footprints)
  • Experience implementing design rules to ensure reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing
  • Specific knowledge of signal integrity in digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, USB, HDMI, SDR, DDR...)
  • Experience in preventive implementation against EMI/EMC and thermal management optimization
  • Design with implementation of isolation in voltages and signals
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards in the medical field, IEC60601
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to hardware
  • Minimum knowledge of 3D modelling, components, and PCB
  • Experience in design oriented to the manufacturing process and tests that encompass verification and validation (AOI, AXI, FPT, FCT, BS, etc...)
  • Use of instrumentation equipment (oscilloscopes, active/passive current probes, multimeter, power supplies, signal generators...) to perform measurements, validations, and design and test reports
