Job Description
We are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to work on the development of new hardware designs related to the medical field. The main role is focused on the creation of new designs or the modification of current designs, in addition to related electronics in medical products or devices, ranging from architecture to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design PCBs for new or existing products in the medical field.
- Provide knowledge and support in different areas related to development.
- Collaborate with the rest of the teams to ensure the integration of the different development activities.
- Ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality design meeting requirements.
- Document designs and comply with established processes.
- Meet delivery deadlines on projects.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge base of digital and analog electronics.
- Creation and management of documentation.
- Experience in selecting components and their alternatives.
- Experience with Pulsonix or Altium. Another EDA tool will be valued.
- Experience in electronic simulation.
- Knowledge of component library management (Symbols and Footprints).
- Experience implementing design rules to ensure reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing.
- Specific knowledge of signal integrity in digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, USB, HDMI, SDR, DDR...).
- Experience in preventive implementation against EMI/EMC and thermal management optimization.
