**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to join our Intelligent Automation team at BD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with DTO Intelligent Automation leadership and key staff members to develop site-specific intelligent automation roadmaps, inclusive of digital solutions and machine learning.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality, working closely with manufacturing site teams.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate technological solutions.
  • Complete process concept, project charters, and business justification, risk analysis, feasibility/proof of concept, automation FAT, SAT, and validation.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors for process development and technology transfer projects.
  • Collaborate with the DTO team members and other required functions to develop and implement playbooks for implementation and replication of intelligent automation technology solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures when required.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong relationships with counterparts in Manufacturing/Operations, business units, Global Integrated Engineering, BD Excellence, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance, ensuring timely and transparent alignment of strategies and goals.
  • Provide mentoring and building of engineering capabilities to support the continuous evolution of Intelligent automation technology through skills identification and assessment, capability building, and training of associates, including engineering support organization, site operators, technicians, and engineers.
