We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Murcia. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospitals and laboratory environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team.
- Support laboratory systems in the field of clinical diagnostics and automation, partnering with the customer on technical issues and maximizing the instrument's usage.
- Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
- Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter's customers, along with technical training.
- Accompany the digital transformation and contribute your IT knowledge to installation projects and internal projects.
- Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times.
- Work closely with our sales and office staff, providing consultancy to our customers on preventive maintenance, service contracts, and equipment solutions.
- University degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or/and validated equivalent experience.
- Hold a current valid driver's license. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Good IT knowledge - familiar with IT infrastructure, enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces.
- Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment, IT repair experience in laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
