**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to join our Intelligent Automation team at BD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with DTO Intelligent Automation leadership and key staff members to develop site-specific intelligent automation roadmaps, inclusive of digital solutions and machine learning.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
- Work closely with manufacturing site teams to conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate technological solutions.
- Complete process concept, project charters, and business justification, risk analysis, feasibility/proof of concept, automation FAT, SAT, and validation.
- Manage external contractors and vendors for process development and technology transfer projects.
- Collaborate with the DTO team members and other required functions to develop and implement playbooks for implementation and replication of intelligent automation technology solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures when required.
**Requirements:**
- Strong relationships with counterparts in Manufacturing/Operations, business units, Global Integrated Engineering, BD Excellence, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.
- Mentoring and building of engineering capabilities to support the continuous evolution of Intelligent automation technology through skills identification and assessment, capability building, and training of associates.
