Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Leader to join our team at Novartis Farmacéutica. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial expertise and driving the achievement of our financial, transformation, and savings targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Coordinate the development and implementation of financial plans and forecasts for the region, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
  2. Decision Support: Provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  3. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives, driving business growth and profitability.
  4. Financial Reporting: Design and deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial planning and analysis capabilities, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools, such as Excel and financial planning software.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market trends.
