Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement Vueling's pricing strategies within an established pricing framework defined by Revenue Management teams, aiming to optimize revenue across our network. This includes ensuring compliance with travel pricing regulations and technical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee pricing initiatives, ensuring all projects related to pricing systems are executed effectively.
  • Perform pricing analyses, focusing on process enhancements, fare structure modifications, and competitive pricing assessments.
  • Possess knowledge of fare filing, pricing regulations, and other technical aspects of the pricing framework.
  • Collaborate with other revenue teams to identify and evaluate pricing-related initiatives.

Key Collaborations

Engage with teams across Commercial Business Insights, Sales, Digital Marketing, Ancillaries, Networks, Data, IT, and Finance.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

Experience

A minimum of one year of relevant experience in pricing or commercial roles is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication skills for articulating ideas effectively.
  • Aptitude for identifying challenges, analyzing data, and evaluating options.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, or SQL is essential.

Language Proficiency

Fluent in Spanish (C1) and proficient in English (B2).

Work Environment

This position is based at our headquarters.
