Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial Transactions to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our global legal services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business of the organization by leading the regional Transaction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage legal issues with a focus on trade practices in IT distribution with minimal supervision.
- Counsel and advise management on legal problems in the transactional law area.
- Work closely with local management teams to provide training and guidance on transactional law matters.
- Participate in or conduct negotiations and transactions on behalf of TD SYNNEX.
- Assist in the defense of the organization in legal action.
- Support legal compliance activities focused on the mentioned area.
- Collaborate with local management teams, global legal services teams, and outside counsel on various matters.
- Communicate and interact regularly with business clients and global legal services teams to deliver high-value added legal services.
- Set work priorities, productivity goals, and provide strong customer service focus.
- Advises direct reports and supervises their daily operational work.
- Provides training focused on contract/transactional matters for internal clients.
- Assists with the preparation or review of proposed contracts and other legal instruments to safeguard the organization's interests.
Requirements:
- Qualified and admitted to the practice of law in the UK.
- Qualified legal degree from a certified educational institution required.
- Minimum of 5+ years in the practice of commercial/corporate law required or in-house experience in transactional work.
- Preference for in-house experience.
- Able to write clear and logical legal briefs, reports, and other documents.
- Able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
- Able to work constructively under stress and pressure.
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Able to coach others in the development of their skills.
- Able to negotiate persuasively and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate legal research information clearly and concisely to others.
- Able to make sound legal decisions.
- Able to interact positively and effectively with others at various levels within the organization and outside parties.
- Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.
