About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal AI Architect to join our team at Hewlett-Packard. The Principal AI Architect will serve as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert, responsible for driving the design, implementation, and overseeing advanced AI solutions that not only address our internal business needs but also meet the requirements of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development of the organization's AI strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation through AI technologies.
  • Solution Design and Architecture: Define the technical architecture for complex AI systems, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Advanced Research and Development: Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, exploring emerging technologies, algorithms, and methodologies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical mentor and advisor to ML engineers and data scientists, providing guidance on technical design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Quality Assurance and Governance: Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for AI development, ensuring that solutions to our customers meet high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (4 years) working as an AI Architect, AI Engineer, or similar role, with a track record of delivering innovative AI solutions.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI-related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Golang.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire technical teams and stakeholders.
