About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Officer to join our team at ZF in Corella, Spain. As a key member of our Purchasing department, you will be responsible for implementing and executing purchasing strategies aligned with our Domain Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Sourcing: Lead the setup and implementation of purchasing strategies to secure our business, ensuring optimal cost-effective balance of local and global sourcing options.
  2. Contract Negotiation: Manage frame contracts with suppliers, evaluating their performance in terms of quality, price, technology, delivery, and project development.
  3. Purchasing Reporting: Conduct regular reporting and analysis to support business decisions, tracking delivery performance and supporting procurement activities for key suppliers.
  4. Supply Chain Management: Provide strong support to FMG global plants, ensuring optimal cost-effective balance of local and global sourcing options and negotiating for local and global demand.
  5. NPI Sourcing: Implement NPI sourcing strategy and make sourcing decisions on time, benchmarking to find the best cost sourcing options to keep us competitive.
  6. Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the team.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of purchase and project management.
  2. Skills: Good knowledge of purchase processes and project management, experience with MRP system, contract/price negotiations, and sourcing.
  3. Language: Proficiency in English and Spanish languages.
  4. Personal Qualities: A good team player who is proactive, independent, and resourceful.
