Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Procurement team. This role involves collaborating with a global network to enhance our contractual agreements and supplier relationships. You will be based in a dynamic environment, working closely with the regional purchasing manager and local colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing purchasing strategies in alignment with the Domain Purchasing Manager.
  • Overseeing framework agreements with suppliers to safeguard our operations.
  • Assessing supplier performance based on quality, pricing, technology, delivery, and project advancement.
  • Conducting purchasing analysis and reporting as required.
  • Monitoring delivery performance and facilitating procurement efforts for essential suppliers.
  • Providing robust support to global plants to achieve an optimal balance between local and global sourcing while negotiating for both local and global needs.
  • Implementing new product introduction sourcing strategies and making timely sourcing decisions.
  • Benchmarking to identify the most competitive sourcing options.
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and project management.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and project management principles.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and sourcing strategies.
  • Background in demand forecasting, planning, and procurement operations.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • A proactive, independent, and resourceful team player.
