Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the golf industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share in the golf industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including golf course owners, managers, and purchasing decision-makers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
- Manage and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Travel to customer sites to conduct sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an outside sales role, preferably in the golf industry.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service and/or sales-facing position.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of golf clubs, footwear, and apparel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- High level of energy and professionalism.
- Exceptional follow-through and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of retail sales practices.
- Ability to grasp, learn, and communicate complex concepts quickly and independently.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and make recommendations on potential solutions.
- Ability to convincingly present product and brand using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools.
- Ability to effectively manage time and work against business deadlines.
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to multi-task and focus on primary business objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and/or priorities.
- Ability to successfully complete tasks within required deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to travel is required.
