We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Service Supervisor to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our In-Room Dining team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Supervise the operations of the In-Room Dining services, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the In-Room Dining Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead a team of servers and support staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing waste.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food and beverage quality meets our high standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including chefs, kitchen staff, and other departments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve service and guest experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably in a food and beverage role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that meet guest needs.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
