Job Opportunity: Academic Positions Open for Tenure-Eligible Lecturers and Associate Professors

About the Position:

Karlstad University is seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-track positions as lecturers and associate professors. The positions are available in various fields of study, including sciences, life sciences, medical and health sciences, social sciences, engineering and architecture, and arts and humanities.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and conduct research in their respective fields
  • Develop and implement new research projects and lines of inquiry
  • Collaborate with existing research groups and develop new partnerships
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide service activities

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Excellent record of publications in reputable venues
  • International exposure and experience in competitive research projects
  • Teaching experience and a strong commitment to education

Contract and Benefits:

  • Fixed-term full-time contract for up to six years for tenure-track lecturers
  • Permanent contract for associate professors
