The Serra Húnter Programme (Shp) is a prestigious academic initiative that aims to attract highly qualified faculty members to public universities in Catalonia, Spain. Our programme is committed to promoting excellence in research and teaching, and we are seeking talented individuals to join our faculty as tenure-eligible lecturers and associate professors.
Available PositionsWe have 78 positions available for tenure-eligible lecturers and 5 positions for associate professors in various fields of study, including sciences, life sciences, medical and health sciences, social sciences, engineering and architecture, and arts and humanities.
QualificationsTo be eligible for these positions, candidates must hold a PhD and have an excellent record of publications in reputable venues. They should also have international exposure, have participated in competitive research projects, and have teaching experience.
Contract DetailsTenure-eligible lecturers will be offered a fixed-term full-time contract for up to six years, with the possibility of a permanent position as associate professor at the end of the contract. Associate professors will be offered a full-time permanent contract.
Salary and BenefitsThe annual starting salary for tenure-eligible lecturers is currently 37,553.42 euros, while associate professors start at 41,438.62 euros. In addition to salary, contracts include health, retirement, and unemployment benefits.
Selection ProcessThe selection process consists of two steps: an international call and a recruitment competition process handled by the university in accordance with its own rules.
