Job Opportunity at Serra Húnter Programme (Shp)
The Serra Húnter Programme (Shp) is seeking highly qualified candidates for tenure-eligible lecturer and associate professor positions at public universities in Catalonia, Spain. We are offering 78 positions as tenure-eligible lecturer and 5 positions as associate professor in various fields of study, including sciences, life sciences, medical and health sciences, social sciences, engineering and architecture, and arts and humanities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputable academic journals
- Teach and mentor students at the university
- Collaborate with existing research groups and develop new lines of research
Qualifications:
- PhD degree in a relevant field
- Excellent record of publications in good venues
- International exposure and experience in competitive research projects
- Teaching experience
Contract Details:
- Tenure-eligible lecturers: fixed-term full-time contract for up to six years, with the possibility of a permanent position as associate professor after a positive evaluation
- Associate professors: full-time permanent contract
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual starting salary: 37,553.42 euros for lecturers and 41,438.62 euros for associate professors
- Health, retirement, and unemployment benefits
- Research funding: 5,000 euros for tenure-eligible lecturers and 5,000 euros of additional funding after three years
