Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Brand Manager to lead our brand strategy and drive business growth in the pharmaceutical industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans, managing the marketing budget, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy: Develop and execute brand strategies to maximize short- and long-term sales and profitability.
  2. Marketing Planning: Create and lead marketing plans, including media strategy, for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget.
  3. Consumer Insights: Initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long-term brand growth.
  4. Trade Partnerships: In close co-operation with the Sales and Customer Trade, identify trade needs/opportunities, develop loyalty strategies, and consumer promotions for assigned brands.
  5. Product Development: Lead product development plans from ideation to product launch, collaborating with innovation project managers.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Effectively work with and influence key stakeholders, including Finance, Sales, Trade, and Supply teams.
  7. Financial Accountability: Full P&L accountability for assigned brands.

Requirements:

  1. 6-8 years of experience in the OTC/pharmaceutical industry/FMCG.
  2. Preferably experienced in working with OTC products and understanding complex and changing regulatory environments.
  3. Outstanding marketing skills and brand building expertise.
  4. Demonstrated agility in managing a brand amidst competitive and complex environments.
  5. Brand builder understands key drivers of brand success and drives improvements.
  6. Good balance between strategic thinking and execution understanding.
  7. Leadership qualities in impacting, contributing, and challenging business strategy.
  8. Insightful grasp of consumer behavior and market trends.
  9. Excellent communication skills adept at nurturing relationships and managing stakeholders with ease.
  10. Team player, collaborator works effectively with several departments and countries.
  11. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  12. Entrepreneurial, agile, spots strategic and tactical opportunities, implements with speed. Can-do attitude.
  13. Ability to meet deadlines, remain organized, adaptable, and autonomous; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  14. Languages required: English (high level) and native Spanish.
