Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at Empresa reconocida. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations, including managing a team, directing company payments, reviewing payroll changes, and compiling payroll summaries for management review.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team responsible for all aspects of the European payroll process, including approving transactions and reviewing exemptions.
- Change individual payrolls as stipulated by management, including tax deductions or salary adjustments.
- Maintain payroll systems and report any issues to management.
- Supervise personnel involved in payroll and ensure adherence to best financial practices.
- Audit payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with local tax laws.
- Create monthly and annual payroll reports for management review.
- Ensure all payroll systems comply with local tax laws.
- Attend to payroll-related queries or questions from employees.
- Support the close and external audit, as needed.
- Manage, collaborate, and evaluate external payroll vendors and other outsourced service providers.
- Partner with our HR, Tax, and Finance teams on process improvements and management of inputs and outputs.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to achieve business results.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, human resource management, or a similar field.
- 4-5 years' experience in payroll in European countries.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll and HR software, such as ADP and Workday.
- Familiarity with labor legislation and tax laws.
- The ability to ethically work with employee-sensitive information.
- Solid knowledge of data entry management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- International experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven.
