Job Title: HR Manager

Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Buggenhout, Belgium.

Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for delivering broad HR services to our production plant, employing approximately 600 people. This includes managing and motivating a team of HR professionals, maintaining excellent employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of HR professionals to deliver HR services to the production plant.
  • Maintain excellent employee relations by creating a conducive social climate and taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Be the liaison between management and employees to assist in resolving problems and conflicts.
  • Translate and implement company HR policies at the factory site.
  • Advise management on personnel matters and support changes.
  • Ensure smooth processes throughout the personnel lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Conduct workforce analysis and planning, and make decisions on recruitment programs and hiring processes.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate personnel and payroll records.
  • Lead the department's yearly budget process and monitor performance versus budget.
  • Improve and monitor performance management by building and maintaining a performance-driven culture.
  • Represent the interests of the company and its employees in relation to external partners.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience in managing teams, employee relations, and HR policies and procedures.
