About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Amazon as an Area/Shift Manager, where you will lead a large and diverse team to ensure your area of the business meets customer demands. As a key member of the operations team, you will work closely with colleagues to address challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality and productivity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a Team: Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
- Analyse and Improve: Analyse performance, suggest process improvements, and optimise work to improve customer service.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes and work with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets.
A Day in the Life
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritise routine team management and daily operational tasks, and work with colleagues to address challenges and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or working towards a bachelor's degree).
- Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
- Experience: Relevant experience in performing data analysis, communicating with stakeholders, and working in a logistical environment.
