Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: You will be responsible for leading a team of employees to achieve business objectives and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Process Improvement: You will analyze and implement corrective actions to improve quality and productivity, and ensure that business objectives are met across all shifts.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with other managers and teams to standardize shift processes and address challenges.
- Performance Analysis: You will analyze performance data and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
As an Area Manager, you will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, and address individual escalations and process improvement work.
You will work closely with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, and discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: You must have a bachelor's degree (or be working towards one) in a relevant field.
- Language Skills: You must have advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.
- Relevant Experience: You must have relevant experience in performing data analysis.
Preferred qualifications include experience communicating with stakeholders, experience in a logistical working environment, and experience working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment. Amazon is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity in the workplace.
