Job Description

Financial Planning Specialist

As a Financial Planning Specialist at Almirall Hermal GmbH, you will work closely with the department Lead/Area Director as a business partner for the senior management, providing financial insights and analysis to support the company's decision-making process. This includes identifying areas of financial risk and opportunity, evaluating potential investments, and providing guidance on financial implications of various business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Analytical P&L's & Planning Cycles
    • Consolidate all figures for reporting and planning purposes and prepare presentations for the Management Board.
    • Provide analysis of Sales, Gross Margin, and SG&A in coordination with the different area controllers.
  • Long-term Planning
    • Prepare a 5-year financial strategic review with the involvement of all areas.
    • Prepare different scenarios and sensitivity analysis.
  • Dynamic Planning Process
    • Prepare and ensure a dynamic planning process, supporting the Areas (budget, forecast & 5YF) and carefully preparing the tools to be ready for the planning.
    • Responsible for ORSOFT (analytical product view).
  • Reporting
    • Power BI master user to upload and prepare the information.
    • Adapt hierarchies and changes in the reports and the tools.
    • Be proactive in managing changes and new ways to show the information to take decisions.
  • Accuracy and Data Consistency
    • Ensure accuracy and data consistency of all data in the system and the output provided.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree in Economics Business Administration with interest in planning and strategic views and reporting.
    • MBA will be a plus.
  • Experience
    • More than 3 years of similar experience working in an international environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector, with focus on financial planning and forecasting.
    • Strong understanding of finance and deep controlling experience.
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and good communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
    • Knowledge in Hyperion-Oracle (Planning) and Power BI (Reporting Tool).
