About Your Team
Become a vital part of our innovative SAP Enterprise Architects team within the newly established SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. We spearhead digital transformation initiatives utilizing state-of-the-art SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, endorsing Clean Core principles, and expediting the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our objective is to streamline and modernize IT environments, minimizing complexity and operational expenditures while nurturing innovation and efficiency to meet the evolving demands of businesses.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will formulate a detailed enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their organizational objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner and oversee activities such as:
- Guiding clients through their cloud transition (with a focus on adoption and realization), beginning with Enterprise archetypes and scaling digitally.
- Offering enterprise architecture expertise utilizing the RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to guarantee that every client reaps the benefits of SAP's cloud capabilities.
- Acting as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxO, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Facilitating adoption by identifying and alleviating technical adoption challenges.
- Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption, and advocating SAP best practices.
- Providing customer context to all teams, enhancing customer engagement and experience.
- Articulating the value of the designed target architecture and potential intermediate/transition phases while offering guidance on realizing the identified benefits.
- Serving as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for mission-critical operations.
Your Qualifications
Transformation, Architectural & Solution Expertise:
- Extensive experience in delivering enterprise business transformation initiatives and aligning client priorities with target architecture and strategic roadmap.
- In-depth understanding of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, AI) and practical knowledge of S/4HANA applications.
- Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Insight into SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- 15+ years in customer experience roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with a background in comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, and experience with BTP components and services such as application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, and AI capabilities.
- S/4HANA technical or/and SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge/experience.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English) at senior management and C-levels, both within IT teams and across business functions.
- A mindset geared towards Strategic Thinking, Continuous Learning, and Business Acumen.
- Knowledge of on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
- Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF).
